From planned shift to paid invoice: Stunden is a modular SaaS platform for Swiss companies that sell working time. We designed and built the product, the web app and the mobile app, plus the website that explains it.
Starting point
Anyone who sells working time often works with a patchwork of tools: the roster in Excel, hours on paper or in a clocking app, invoices in the accounts, payroll with the trustee. Data gets retyped between tools, and that’s exactly where billable hours get lost.
On top of that come Swiss quirks that international tools rarely handle cleanly: the QR-bill and VAT, AHV, BVG and withholding tax in payroll, the Labour Act and collective agreements in planning. And employees are out and about, not at a desk.
Solution
A platform made of modules that every company switches on as needed: time tracking, shift planning, absences, expenses, projects, quotes, invoices with dunning, payroll, till, inventory and a document centre. Each company is its own tenant, and roles control, permission by permission, whether someone sees their own data, the team’s, or everything.
Built for Swiss everyday life: the QR-bill, Bexio import, Swissdec payroll filings, bank files and Microsoft 365 sign-in. An AI assistant reads receipts and drafts invoice text, and a REST API and an MCP server open up the data for your own tools. The interface speaks German, French and English, and the data stays in Switzerland.

In the office, Stunden runs as a web app in the browser; on site, as an installable app on the phone. The mobile interface is built for one hand and short moments: the most important action always sits in the middle of the bar. Try it out, the tabs on the phone work.
